Hartman, a graduate of Central Michigan University, succeeds meteorologist Joe Kopecek, a 13-year veteran of Channel 13, who left to pursue other interests, according to a WZZM spokesperson. Hartman, who grew up on a farm near Ionia, didn’t have far to come to join WZZM 13 On Target Weather team.
