Why is my weather station offline?
If Wunderground.com detects a Quality Control issue in your data (weather station went offline for a period of time, or temperature is out of range when compared to other weather stations in your area). It can be an issue with the Wunderground.com website. Be patient – they usually fix it.

How does CWOP send their weather data to NWS?
CWOP members send their weather data by to special computer servers (MADIS), and then every 15 minutes, the entire data set is sent from these servers to an NWS server. These data are checked for quality and accuracy and then redistributed to users.
