The LPIC 1 cert is fairly easy as are most initial Linux certs. If you have a few years experience with Linux as a sysadmin, and use the bash on a daily basis it’s easy. I studied for about a day for the 1st test and passed easily. The 2nd took only a couple of days study.

Is LPIC difficult?
lpic 2 absolutely is harder than rhcsa. Rhcsa doesn’t deal with those services’ configurations, it stays on the client side (as per objectives). It is also definitely harder than lpic 1. I’ve taken both and RHCSA > LPIC1+LPIC2, RHCE > LPIC-3 by far.
