Do you need glue for a model car?
Glue: Glue is absolutely essential to scale modeling, with Testors Glue being a great choice for plastic models. However, there are many kinds of glue, and your model kit will generally provide information on the best glue to use. Some may even provide a glue sample.
What is a model car kit?
A plastic model kit is a scale model that consists of unassembled plastic parts, and is available in “snap-together” form or for assembly using plastic glue. When the plastic cools and hardens, the parts are popped out of the tool. This becomes one “sprue” of parts of a model kit.
How many pieces are in a model car?
A single car has about 30,000 parts, counting every part down to the smallest screws. Some of these parts are made at Toyota, but we also have lots of suppliers that make many of these parts.
