Yes, you can become a cheerleader with no cheer experience. It is not guaranteed, but it’s definitely possible. I am a firm believer in going for anything that is important to you or any goal that you strive to achieve.

Every school’s tryout format is different, so for each school you plan to try out for (and yes, some people do tryout at multiple schools, which I as a coach never had a problem with, but some coaches do), investigate their tryout process as best you can.
