EnviroTex Lite® is a water clear 1:1 mix ration by volume epoxy resin used to coat surfaces. It cures to a long-lasting, high gloss coating in approximately 8 hours at 70°F, and reaches full strength and toughness in about 72 hours. This durable, resilient material requires no polishing to produce a high gloss.

Is high gloss finish the same as resin?

Yes, those are the same 4 tiles. The only difference is this resin.

Can EnviroTex Lite be brushed on?

The yellow in EnviroTex Lite seems the same. The yellow is fading in EnviroTex Jewelry, Cernit Kit and especially Ice Resin. The very slight color change in Magic Glos, Deep Shine and UltraDome remains. Little Windows might be turning color a bit overall.

Can I pour epoxy over fabric?

Yes you can. Epoxy resin will make fabric stiff and rock hard after it cures. Be advised that, like most natural objects, epoxy resin may make fabric look wet and may even cause it to go darker or alter its colour.

Can you add color to Envirotex Lite?

Yes, you can tint Envirotex. I use a drop or two of cheap acrylic craft paint per ounce of mixed Envirotex. That leaves the “water” colored a bit, but still pretty clear. It will harden just fine.

If the bottle has been opened, the epoxy hardener will yellow in its liquid state more quickly since it has been exposed directly to oxygen. For this reason, epoxy resins will always have a shelf life. Once a product has begun to yellow in the bottle, it can still be used and will properly cure.
