Like many, I have a few old BT hubs lying around from various recontracts, I also have a Wi-Fi deadspot in the opposite corner to our BT master socket, so it got me thinking can I use and old BT hub as an extender? Well, the answer is Yes! All you need is an old BT Hub and an ethernet connection between them.

Is there a WiFi extender for BT Infinity?

Can you use BT Smart Hub 6 as a secondary router?
To use my existing Netgear Cable router (WNDR3700V4) as the Primary Router and use the BT Smart Hub 6 as a secondary wireless repeater / range extender and for the extra 2 usable wired ports in another room in the house.
